Charlie Parker
Interesting Facts: Charlie Parker helped to develop a type of Jazz called bebop.  He had a fast paced, fiery style of playing that made him very famous.  On the way to a performance with Jay McShann the group accidentally hit a chicken with their car and Charlie parker made them stop to pick it up. Later his landlady cooked it for him.  After that his nickname became Yardbird.
